Home / Content of Their Character: V'Ahavta L'Re'ekha V'Mokha (Love Your Neighbor as Yourself)
Grades: 6-Adult Content of Their Character lessons offer students a definition and text study of Jewish values with practical applications. Each of these lesson folders contains material for three to four forty-five-minute classroom sessions.
In many ways Judaism can be broken down to two principles. One is Yirat ha-Shem, the fear or awe of God. This is the deep knowledge that we need to obey God’s law because God is to be honored and obeyed. The other is V’ahavta R’ekha k’Mokha, loving others.
