- Teacher Guide
Fifteen Steps to Freedom introduces and reinforces the fifteen steps of the Passover seder. In addition this lesson teaches both why and how the seder proceeds as it does. In the end of the lesson the students will discover how all the steps add up to the “slavery to freedom” journey. The students will also learn their obligation to relive the exodus every year. If you would like, this could be used in place of reading from the Haggadah at a model seder, as it teaches and goes through each of the steps. A model seder does not need to be an actual seder, but rather a way for the students to learn about the seder.
