- Teacher Guide
God asked the Jewish people to follow and listen to God’s law. The Jewish people told God they would obey and then listen. God gave the Jewish people a set of laws, a set of ways to behave and act. These rules have become an important value of the Jewish people. In this lesson the students will be learning more in depth about the Ten Commandments and will be coming up with their own translation for two versions of the Shabbat commandment.
