The BJL God: God Creates Everything lesson begins this unit by starting with the Jewish idea that we find evidence of God in the things that God creates. Jews use the present tense for creation, as we learn in the daily prayer that says, “God renews the acts of creation daily.” In the lesson we learn that (1) everything (including human creations) is created by God (directly or indirectly); (2) creation is diverse and wondrous; and (3) blessings are a Jewish way of acknowledging God’s creations.
